Leadership Series for Board Members - How to Renew, Refresh, and Re-energize Your Board

Local Initiatives Support Corporation:

This webcast will present a discussion of board renewal through long-term and long lasting strategies rather than the quick fix, short and fleeting approaches.

We are honored to have Dr. Freiwirth share her perspective, both from her research and rich experience in the Greater Boston area, on nonprofit board vitality and renewal.

Dr. Judy Freiwirth is the Principal and Senior Organization Development Consultant of Nonprofit Solutions Associates.

She has been consulting to and training exclusively for nonprofit and public organizations for the past 30 years, primarily with community based nonprofits.

She has consulted with many CDCs, housing, tenants and community organization groups throughout the New England region, particularly in board governance and development.

Dr. Freiwirth has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and recently published a series of articles focused on Community Driven Governance for the Nonprofit Boards and Governance Review.

She is founder and coordinator of the Alliance for Nonprofit Managementâ¬(TM)s national network of researchers, consultants and management support organizations around the country focused on developing new models of board governance.

She holds a doctorate in psychology, specializing in organization development.
