U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education Brenda Dann-Messier to Address National Skills Coalition

U.S. Assistant Secretary for the Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE) Brenda Dann-Messier will discuss the goals and vision for OVAE at the National Skills Coalition annual summit in Washington, D.C, on Feb. 9. Dann-Messier will explain how her office's activities will help to support the development of stronger educational pathways for workers at all skill levels.

The skills summit will bring together more than 150 workforce development experts from across the nation to discuss the future of federal training and education policies. The summit will also address how the workforce community can effectively partner with federal agencies and Congress on strategies to improve economic prosperity.
