P/PV Now Accepting Applications for Sector Strategies Practicum

Public/Private Ventures:

P/PV is now accepting applications for our 2010 sector strategies prac.ti.cum.

This nine-month intensive experience, funded by the New York City Workforce Investment Fund, will foster the development of sectoral partnerships in the city through an intensive opening retreat, a series of monthly workshop sessions for staff and partners and hands-on technical assistance.

Organizations will engage with national experts as they target industry sectors and engage partners, gaining an understanding of successful sector partnerships and developing their own approaches.

The 2010 sector strategies prac.ti.cum will run from January to September and will focus solely on projects in New York City's healthcare sector.

The deadline to apply is November 23, 2009.
