Get More for Your Money During Bon-Ton Goodwill Sale; Semi-Annual Sale Puts People Back to Work

From Ascribe Newsfeed:

People looking for a way to stretch their dollars and be eco-friendly can take advantage of the Goodwill Sale event at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc.

From Sept. 10 to 22, customers who donate clean, gently-used clothing and home textiles at participating Bon-Ton locations will receive 20 percent off coupons toward new merchandise, including apparel and cosmetics, at Bon-Ton.

The donations will be sold at Goodwill Industries' retail stores, where the revenue generates job training programs and career services for people who need it most in local communities.

From the sale of these donated items, Goodwill has earned an estimated $2.3 million in revenues to support Goodwill's job training and career services for individuals with disabilities as well as those who are having a hard time finding employment.

"Bon-Ton is a valuable partner," says Jim Gibbons, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International.

Our customers can donate their items to be re-sold for a great cause while receiving a substantial discount on new fall fashions," says Bud Bergren, president and chief executive officer of The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. "The Goodwill Sale exemplifies our commitment to the communities in which we operate."

We provide direct, immediate access to mainstream national media for 600 colleges, universities, medical centers, public-policy groups and other leading nonprofit organizations.
