Paid Fellowship for Minority Students Interested in the Non-Profit Sector

From Ascribe Newsfeed:

The Nonprofit Sector Research Fund of the Aspen Institute is looking for students to apply for semester and summer internships under the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fellowship for Minority Students.

The fellowship, which is paid, provides internships in Washington, DC with the Fund.

The application deadline for the fall semester is July 15th, 2007.

Fellows perform research and program duties for the Fund's grantmaking and outreach efforts.

A stipend between $2,500 and $5,000 is paid for the internship based on the time commitment and duration of stay.

Recipients may also be eligible to receive academic credit from their colleges or universities.

For application details, please visit us at www.nonprofitresearch.org/hearst and www.aspeninstitute.org.

NSRF, a part of the Aspen Institute's Nonprofit Sector and Philanthropy Program (NSPP), was established in 1991 to increase understanding of the nonprofit sector and philanthropy.

Through seminars, policy programs, conferences, and leadership development initiatives, the Institute and its international partners seek to promote nonpartisan inquiry and an appreciation for timeless values.
