New Womenstake.org site Addresses Women's Rights Issues

National Women's Law Center

Today the National Women's Law Center (NWLC) is launching a multi-issue blog to provide updates and commentary on pressing women's rights issues.

The blog, Womenstake.org, will promote and inform timely discussions of a broad range of issues affecting women including family economic security, education, employment, health care and much more.

"We hope Womenstake.org will help advocates for women speak out on these important issues, including by making their views known to policy makers in Washington, D.C., and across the nation," said National Women's Law Center Co-President, Nancy Duff Campbell.

Blogs are increasingly credited with creating and motivating grassroots movements and Womenstake.org will provide a forum for NWLC to offer quick, thoughtful and provocative responses to developments in policy areas women care about.

"Our blog will reach, engage and motivate many people around the country to get the inside story and the facts on what is happening, why it matters and how to make a difference for women and their families," National Women's Law Center Co-President, Marcia D. Greenberger said.
